Summer Term 2024

Come and Join Us – sing more in ’24!

Over the last twenty five years, Hullabaloo’s choral escapades have taken us from London to Leicester, Aberystwth to Arundel and Whitby to Worthing! But we also love performing in Brighton & Hove, our home turf!

The Hullabaloo Summer Term starts on 15th April, and runs through to our Summer celebration gig on Saturday 20th July. Join Us!

We are delighted to be collaborating with Fossilheads We shall be tackling some knock-out songs and can’t wait for the gig with our other special guest, Zoe Lyons!!

Our main venue for this term is Stanford Junior School, Stanford Road, Brighton BN1 5PR, this has a large hall and it has some parking on site. See Venues section below for further information.

We rehearse from 7pm to 9:30pm, with a short break. It’s good to arrive from 6:40, for a prompt start, and rehearsals finish later just before a gig.

We send regular emails to members which give clear info about each rehearsal.

We’d really love to welcome returning Hullabaloo members, as well as regular Hulla folk and brand new singers! We’d especially like to welcome more men and lower singers – but everyone is welcome in Hullabaloo! Let’s get back together! See you Monday 15th January!

The main door is on the side, where there is also a bike rack (but you may bring bikes into the building if you are concerned for their safety). All areas we will use are level access. There will be a tea break – please bring a mug. Further details will be included in the session emails and during rehearsals.

Drivers

There is parking in the playground, around the perimeter as there is an air raid shelter below so there is a weight limit and cars will need to be spaced out. Avoid driving over the centre in heavy vehicles. Otherwise, there is plenty of street parking (pay until 8pm). Pease do consider car shares, if possible! To enter the building you must leave the playground and walk along the pavement to the end of the building, where you’ll find the main entrance.

Our weekend rehearsal is also likely to be here. More info on venue, date and time will come when details are confirmed.

All venues we use are accessible – please email us if you have any queries.
