How to use easyfundraising

Step-by-Step Instructions: How to use it

Method 1: Shopping via the easyfundraising website (desktop or mobile)

  1. Go to easyfundraising.org.uk and log into your account.
  2. Use the search bar at the top to find the retailer you want to shop with (e.g., Argos, M&S, eBay).
  3. Click the ‘Shop Now’ button on the retailer’s page. You will be automatically redirected to the retailer’s official website.
  4. Shop and complete your purchase exactly as you normally would.
  5. The retailer will track your purchase and automatically send the donation to Hullabaloo within a few days!

Method 2: Add the ‘Donation Reminder’ (highly recommended)

  1. Once you have an account set up on easyfundraising, you will have the option to install the easyfundraising extension called Donation Reminder.
  2. A browser extension is a small pop-up, an overlay window (you might have come across them with tools like password managers).
  3. The Donation Reminder will pop up on every retailer site where a donation is available which means you don’t have to remember to visit the easyfundraising website first!
  4. Proceed with your shopping – your donation is now tracked automatically without needing to visit the easyfundraising site first!

Method 3: On-the-go with the free mobile app

  1. Download the free easyfundraising app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Log into your account and ensure Hullabaloo is selected as your cause.
  3. Open the app whenever you want to shop on your phone, find your retailer, and tap to open their store inside or via the app.
  4. Complete your checkout normally, and watch your donations add up in your profile tracker!

Method 4: Shopping in physical stores

  1. You can now raise free donations for Hullabaloo when you shop in person at participating stores like Tesco, John Lewis, and Clarks.
  2. To get involved, download the easyfundraising app if you haven’t already.
  3. Look for ‘In-store’ at the bottom of the screen and follow the instructions to add your bank card(s).
  4. Then, when you shop in person at participating stores and pay using your card or Apple/Google Pay, they’ll raise free donations for your cause.
  5. easyfundraising states: Your card is protected to the same security standards used by major UK banks. We’ve partnered with Fidel, a globally trusted payment provider certified to the highest security standard (PCI DSS Level 1).  Your card details are encrypted, never visible to us, and cannot be used to make payments. The only thing it allows is for donations to be automatically added when you shop.
💡 A quick reminder:
Before making any larger purchase – such as electrical goods, furniture, holidays, insurance, jewellery, perfume, garden equipment or curtains – remember to check easyfundraising first. These purchases often generate the biggest donations for Hullabaloo.
