Vox Pop on Radio Reverb

Published by admin on

Our Musical Director Kirsty Martin, is producing our new radio show – Vox Pop – on Brighton’s Radio Reverb. She is co-presenting with Brighton musical magician (and Hullabaloo member) Paul Diello and it features other Hullabaloo members, as well as chorally related guests each month.

Vox Pop is the choral champion of the local (and global, via online) airwaves. As well as presenting an eclectic mix tape of chorally inspired music each month, Kirsty and Paul explore – through historic, mythic, scientific, anthropological and philosophical portals – the why, how, what, when and where of unaccompanied song.

Vox Pop has regular monthly features including ‘Choral Cross-Fade’ which explores the journey of a particular song through its different interpretations, and special features from guests such as Dr Sarah Anderson, Frankie Armstrong and Suzie Shrubb.

Are you involved in a local choir or choral project?

Vox Pop has a community notice board section, so if you have something to advertise, please get in touch!
