Dearest Hulla Folk,
It’s time to sing some lyrics, it’s time to light the lights, it’s time to big-up Hulla, we’re fab, such delight!!!
We want Hulla’s rehearsals and gigs to be as exciting, as inspiring and most importantly as accessible as possible, but that may take a little more cash than we have in the pot.
Fear not though, there is a way that together we can raise the money we need to create Hulla Spectaculars without it costing anyone an extra penny, or requiring anyone to give up any free time.
WOW! How are we going to do that!?
Simple, we’ve signed up to EasyFundraising, a website that helps you collect donations for your chosen community project, school or charity when you shop online. It doesn’t cost you a penny, the donations are made by the companies you shop with. It’s quick and easy to sign up to, and you can change your cause as often as you like.
Sounds good, Anika but what will the extra money raised be used for?
We always manage to find venues for our gigs, BUT they aren’t always as accessible or have all the facilities that we would like; a bar for instance, or heating, or stage lighting. A bit of extra cash could help us secure the best possible venue.
The extra funds would also help to keep the cost of membership, gig tickets and workshop tickets down.
We’d also like to be able to offer free/subsidised tickets/places to people in financial difficulty.
We really hope that you’ll make Hullabaloo Quire your chosen cause, at least for a while, to help raise extra funds for our 20th Birthday Celebrations. We’ve already raised over £400 with just 22 supporters, who knows what we could achieve in the next few months if we all signed-up!
