Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Published by Anika on

Friday 20th March
Dear Hullabeanies,
We are all feeling a sense of loss, isolation and limitation in these worrying times – singing together is such a wonderful, uplifting, health-promoting part of our lives, alongside the community core, we just can’t bear to do without it… and you!! So, on Monday, 23rd March we will be launching HullabaZoom, Hullabaloo’s online manifestation! We’ll be running the session using Zoom. An email was sent out to members with full details of how this will work and how to sign-up.

Brighton Fringe has been postponed until Sept/ Oct. We shall not be continuing with The Raven and The Cosmos until we can plan properly for the future – it’s not viable without Ali & Suzie, sorry, but we are merely putting it on the back burner until ‘normality’ is resumed… so it’s not wasted learning, we promise!

On Monday we will be singing songs from our core repertoire. Please visit the Hullabaloo Facebook group and let us know if there is something that you’re especially keen to sing.

We do not know what the future will hold for further developments, only make our own plans based on what we can do now, so please understand that we may not be able to answer enquiries over future plans. When info changes, we will update you as soon as we can.

Sending love to all you, ‘beanies xx

Monday 16th March
Hulla continues to follow the Public Health England guidance: Latest advice (5:30pm Monday 16th March) is to avoid social gatherings so we have decided to cancel tonight’s rehearsal

NHS guidance is available here

The Steering Group are meeting on Wednesday so the usual weekly newsletter will update you fully after that.

Take care, ‘beanies xx
