New term starts on MONDAY SEPTEMBER 9th

There may be grey skies ahead, but while there’s rhythm and friendship, and harmony and swing…let’s face the music and sing! The weather features heavily in music from all around the world and through history. Artists have used it to convey grand passions, childhood memories, heartbreak and injustice, and, if you live, in the U.K, you will know that it is our favourite topic of conversation! It’s no surprise, then, that when the Hullabaloo Crew decided to have a ‘weather songs’ term, we found no shortage of musical treasures!  Cloudbusting and Stormy Weather are just two of the songs included in this term’s eclectic repertoire. Come along to one of our Open Sessions to find out more!

The weather warns as well as inspires, there is no escaping the message our current unpredictable and, increasingly, extreme weather is communicating; namely the need for urgent systematic change in response to our climate emergency. As such, we will be in cahoots with Extinction Rebellion, to highlight Climate Change issues, to raise money and awareness for their campaigns and to collaborate creatively with the XR choir
